The Get Up Kids To Go On Hiatus
propertyofzack: The Get Up Kids recently reunited after years of being apart and even released a brand new album earlier this year called There Are Rules. The band will be heading out on a European tour shortly, but just announced that they plan on heading in their separate ways for the foreseeable future after the tour finishes. I had a dream last night that Brett and I were doing the obstacle course training to be cops so he could legally drive fast on tour. And while we were training, about a good quarter of all of the other people training were wearing Stone Throats shirts.

Last night shortly before midnight, Snuffy passed away. Lindsey and I were holding him and he started making weird sounds. Then he started spazzing out. So we took him to Noah’s 24-hour Animal Hospital. They said he was having a heart attack and they put him on CPR. But it was no use. The whole time at the hospital, I was pretty upset. And the whole time, I was just thinking,...

I guess Snuffy isn’t getting a blood transfusion. Instead, he’s at home and we have to keep him warm by wrapping him in blankets and holding him and giving him medicine every 3-5 hours. The doctors said he has a 50% chance of living. I really hope he’s gonna be okay.

Saves The Day - Daybreak
Before you read this, understand that Saves The Day and Converge are my two favorite bands and neither band can do wrong in my eyes. Under The Boards came out in fall of 2008 and I absolutely loved it. You could definitely hear how it is a continuation from Sound The Alarm. After waiting for 3 long years, Saves The Day have FINALLY put out Daybreak. Daybreak is the third part of a trilogy...

Indianapolis.
In the past year, Gwen Stacy, Opponents, Haste The Day, In The Face of War, Deciever, Olympians, Same As Sunday and Venable have all broken up. It’s really fucked up when you think about it. The Indianapolis music scene is dying. People need to step up and support the music scene here. Part of the reason they’re breaking up is probably because its a hassle to get people to come out...

When I was growing up, there were three people I idolized more than anyone else. These people were Mark Hoppus, Hulk Hogan and Tony Hawk. Now, I later realized that Hulk Hogan was just like John Cena and he couldn’t wrestle to save his life and politic’ed his way to the top of the WWF. But I still can’t help but feel nostalgic when he’s on TV. Tony Hawk is just...
